LTA41-T1 T1 & Data Access Over Fiber

The LTA41-T1 is a classical CPE for a variety of applications requiring T1 transport and Data services over fiber optics. (1) The main applications are: wireless backhauling, bringing T1 and Data to the cell tower over fiber. (2) School districts and campuses are using this solution to deliver Data and Voice services from their central location to remote buildings. (3) The LTA41-T1 can also be used also to extend the carrier’s demarcation point over fiber within the buildings and campuses.

The LTA41-T1 is connected to the Central office over Fiber and provides connectivity for T1 circuits (1, 2 or 4) and broadband access (4x 10/100 ports) with VLAN capabilities to ensure secured connection. At the central site, the LTA41-T1 is connected to a MetroStar system with MCM100-T1 modules, where the two services – broadband (Ethernet) and WAN (T1) are connected to their respective networks.
The LTA41-T1 is available with a variety of multi-mode and single-mode fiber interfaces (Max range 93 miles) as well as single-fiber-strand (1310/1550nm) models.

MDX-81 CWDM Integrated Solution

With the introduction of the new MDX-81 CWDM module, the MetroStar system provides an “All in One” CWDM solution. This unique approach by FibroLAN integrates the CWDM MDX-81 Mux/Demux module together with variety of Transponder modules in a MetroStar system that is equipped with redundant Power Supplies and a Management module (MMM-01), all in a single MetroStar chassis - avoiding an external additional product, consequently saving on products’ cost and shelf space.

This solution helps Carriers to deliver several services over minimal number of fibers. Also, in case that the existing fiber infrastructure is used at nearly its full capacity, an effective CWDM solution will maximize the usage of the existing fibers by freeing up fiber strands with no effect on the level of service.

The MDX-81 module enables the integration of 8 fiber inputs with speed ranging from T1 and up to OC48 (2.5G), and transporting these 8 services over a dual strand of fiber for up to 60 mile range. The MDX-41 module is similar to the MDX-81; however, it has only 4 channels. The MDX-81 and the MDX-41 are standard modules and can work with any other vendor’s device complying with the ITU grid.

Aztek

Aztek Networks builds voice communications switching products that enable reliable voice services and uninterrupted access to emergency services for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and other multi-service broadband access networks. Aztek's Emergency Stand Alone (ESA) switching products are the ideal solution for carriers that want to upgrade remote office sites by replacing legacy POTS-only switching units with multi-service access systems but require the continued benefits and reliability of isolated local calling and local 911 call routing. Our patent-pending True ESA™ technology is the industry's most compact and cost-effective remote switch replacement solution. The Aztek 5000-series ESA switch is available in either a TDM or IP configuration, or it can be purchased as a TDM product and field-upgraded to the IP solution at a later date.
